Boston Whaler

Boston Whaler is a motorboat manufacturing company based in the United States. The classic Boston Whaler, or just “Whaler,” consists of a twin V-hull made out of foam-cored fiberglass with an outboard motor and center steering console. Boston Whaler boats are purchased by coast guards units all over the world. Whaler boats are used by recreational boaters for the purposes of fishing and water skiing. Initially, Boston Whaler boats were produced in Massachusetts, but now the facility is in Edgewater, Florida. Ownerships also changed over the years, and the Boston Whaler company is now owned by Brunswick Corporation, and as a result of that, all Whaler boats ship from with Mercury engines.
Boston Whaler’s trademark sales line is “the unsinkable legend,” due to the fact hat all Whaler boats remain afloat even when completely full of water. But nowadays, the US law, states that all boats under 25-feet have to be unsinkable, so this quality is no longer exclusive to Boston whalers.
Whaler boats are engineered to be safe, functional and don’t require a lot of maintenance. All elements that make up the construction merge together to provide a completely rewarding experience for the Whaler customer.Another company slogan is “High Quality, Low Maintenance.” Low maintenance means that owners can stay away from work while boating, so you won’t have to spend hours cleaning after spending time on your boat. Hatches are finished on both sides, cushions are made to last longer, because they use premium prefix vinyl made for marine use with a mildew retardant and UV inhibitors.
Whalers come with standard stainless steel bow and stern eyes. All boats have sturdy, well-placed grab rails that are so strong that will handle up to 400 lbs of vertical pull. The hatches are two-sided with a finished surface on both sides.
Buying a Boston whaler boat is a safe investment, because these are the safest boats around. They are build to last extremely long and are unsinkable. But there is more than flotation. The construction features two walls of fiberglass sandwiched together, so you have a solid hull, instead of the hollow one as in most boats. The exterior is covered by a wall of fiberglass, a dense structural foam in the middle and an additional fiberglass wall on the inside. Boston Whaler boats are so reliable that they come with a ten-year transferable limited hull warranty, so if you decide to sell it, you can offer the new owner the remaining time on your warranty.
